Practice Leader – Health & Welfare

We are looking for a practice leader who thrives on the development and maintenance of client-partner relationships, will build personal expertise, encourage growth in other members of the team, and add new energy and insight to our practice. We believe a variety of professional backgrounds may prepare a consultant for this position, but strong communication, collaboration, and analytical abilities are essential for success. We are looking for an individual with a passion to develop innovative solutions to client-partners’ problems in general, and health and welfare problems specifically. Proven practice development experience is a prerequisite.

15+ years of employee benefits consulting experience including, but not limited to, analytical and problem solving; interpersonal skills; communication skills; organizational skills; technical skills; technology skills and staff mentoring. Proven middle market experience dealing with client size of 100 to 10,000 employees is preferred. In addition to participating in the management and strategic direction of the practice, the candidate will step immediately into a significant client and revenue management role.

Solid industry relationships and/or consulting business experience are required, along with excellent communication (oral/written) and collaboration/team skills, with the ability to positively influence a diverse internal and external audience. Modest US travel is required for this position. A Bachelor’s degree is required. A Master’s degree or Juris Doctorate or CPA, Actuarial (FSA, ASA, EA) and industry credentialing is highly desired. Compensation will specifically reflect contributions in both business development and individual hours billed to clients. Senior Consultant - Operational Risk

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years experience in risk management or 15+ years experience in a technical role at a leading insurance brokerage. A solid understanding of business and an entrepreneurial mindset are highly desirable. An undergraduate degree and industry credentialing or Masters/Juris Doctorate is required. Fluency in a foreign language (Chinese, French, Portuguese or Spanish) would be a plus.

A Senior Consultant is responsible for the timely and imaginative execution of projects which require rigorous analytical thinking and will lead to practical solutions for our client-partners. Additionally you will have project and client-partner development responsibilities. The position will require modest travel both in and out of the States.
